Description
All things comedy, sketch, stand-up, characters, improv etc. A fun way for kids of all levels to get up on stage and build confidence for the future. Our encouraging style of teaching is designed to nurture the creative side using the tools of comedy. Plus kids build ownership and confidence by having the opportunity to perform in the weekly show at 2 which is open to the public. 25% percent of the door goes back to the performers.

Detention Span

Description
When teenagers are given more freedom than most parents allow, then you have the Detention Span hour! A Theatrical show that's better than Cats! Think teenage angst is funny? Do you think the 1980'S is ancient history? The teens of Joy Theatre Teens perform a madcap, fun-filled hour of sketch, improv, impressions, singing, and more at the Raven Playhouse.

Sunday Funnies
Schedule
11am - Noon (every 10 weeks)
Description
A pure improv comedy show performed by our wild and crazy cast of kids. Finally, the secret minds of kids can be explored in this zany hour long comedy show in the heart of the North Hollywood Theatre District. The Sunday Funnies features full audience participation. These kids perform better than Whose Line and Saturday Night Live and some aren't even allowed to stay up that late and watch!
If you want to laugh, and you are looking for something unique and fun for the whole family on a Sunday morning, than you are looking for the Sunday Funnies!
