Attendance Policy

This is a quick explanation of Joy Theatre's attendance policy.

• Please ensure Joy is aware of all absences.
• No more than two consecutive absences.
• More than two absences may result in the loss of your space in our program.
• If you are aware of an extended absence, you may arrange to pay for every third week to secure your spot, please contact Joy prior to work out arrangement, or we can freeze your account and be put on the waiting list if necessary.
• Multiple extended absences may result in the loss of your space.
• We have to balance our flexibility with the commitment and quality of our show and cast.
• Joy Theatre must know by no later than the Wednesday of an absence or you will be charged for the class.
• We understand that some things come up and will try our best to accommodate you, but with lineups, printing and organizing we need to know by Wednesday who is in for the weekend.
• If you cannot make it on your day you can always call to arrange a makeup class, (if space is available) in the sister classes. e.g. Giggle Gaggle Saturday, Sunday or Sunday Funnies.
• If you are running or planning to be more than 10 minutes late please call 818-505-9355 and tell us.
• We worry.
• You must pick your child up at the prescribed time.
• At No Charge, Members are always welcome to stay at Joy during regular business hours with a prior understanding.
• Sat Noon-6pm.
• Sun 10-6pm.
• If your child is not picked up at Joy Theatre after 6:00pm (without prior consent) you will be charged a "Babysitting" fee of $1/minute.
