JOY THEATRE CODE OF CONDUCT AGREEMENT

Players have chosen to participate in the Joy Theatre Program.  In doing so each

Player and Player’s Guardian has agreed to the following:

 

Player Agreements (Kids)

 

1.                   I agree to bring my materials required to every class/show.

2.                   I agree to dress appropriately i.e. No open toed or open heeled shoes, no Skirts, Hats, Revealing clothing, offensive or insensitive logo’s, and nor will I wear my costumes to class.

3.                   I agree to always make my safety, and the safety of others a priority.  I promise to never place my self, the group, or any individual in harms way.

4.                   I agree to NOT touch any property that does not belong to me, without permission from the Director(s).

5.                   I agree to go directly to my director(s) with any problems or complaints, or if someone is hurt.

6.                   I agree that my trash is my responsibility.

7.                   I agree to not leave the building without an adult that I know.

8.                   I agree to be quiet backstage.

9.                   I agree to not swear or say any offensive or insensitive thing.

10.                I understand that the performing in the show is a privilege and Joy has the right to remove me from the shows for breaking any rules.

 

Players Guardian (Old Person)

 

  1. I agree to be responsible for being on time for both drop-off and pick-up of my Player.
  2. I agree to supply my Player with a bottle of water and any nourishment or money needed for my Players time at Joy Theatre.
  3. I agree that I am not the director, and am not allowed to coach, or give any notes during class/show.  Any comments can be made outside of class/show time to a director or you may contact Joy Theatre after class/show time.
  4. I agree that my child cannot miss more than two classes in a row without consent of the directors, and any more than two absences in a row will risk my player’s space in the class.
  5. I agree that I will contact Joy no later than Wednesday, to inform them of an absence.
  6. I agree that my child will be delivered and retrieved at the required time.
    1. If I am more than 10 minutes late I agree to call Joy Theatre and tell them because they worry.
    2. If I am more than 10 minutes late picking up my child I agree to be charged
  7. I understand that  performing in the show is a privilege and Joy has the right to remove the performer from the show for breaking any rules.

 

Any Breaking of these rules will result in disciplinary action that can include expulsion of Player from program.
